Colorado High School Basketball - Lewis-Palmer nips Cheyenne Mountain
February 2, 2024: Monument, CO 80132 Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO), 28-26 in a league bout.
With the win, Lewis-Palmer upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Rangers travel to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to play the Bears in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Palmer Ridge lost 39-37 in their recent league bout against Lutheran (Parker, CO)
Next up, the Red-Tailed Hawks play the Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 50-15 non-league loss to Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO).
