North Carolina High School Basketball - West Caldwell knocked off by Maiden
February 2, 2024: Maiden, NC 28650 The Maiden Blue Devils basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting West Caldwell Warriors to 49 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunker Hill for a contest on Tuesday, February 6. Maiden will battle a Bears team coming off a 37-16 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-11.
The Warriors (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, West Lincoln was defeated by Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 37-16, in a non-league contest.
