The Westover Wolverines basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Triton Hawks to 38 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overhills for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Westover will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 58-34 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-2.

The Hawks (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Western Harnett was routed by Overhills (Spring Lake, NC), 58-34, in a non-league contest.
