Texas High School Soccer - Castleberry knocks off Lake Worth
February 2, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76114 Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Castleberry will attempt to better on its 15-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 6-2 league win over Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast (Hurst, TX).
The Bullfrogs now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bridgeport for a 4A Region 1 District 8 challenge on Wednesday, February 7. Lake Worth will confront a Bulls team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX). The Bulls record now stands at 8-1.
