February 2, 2025: Middle Village, NY 11379 Xaverian Clippers (Brooklyn, NY) supporters left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY), 56-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Xaverian advances its record to 10-9 on the year. The Clippers travel to Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY) to meet the Lions in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens match on Friday, February 7. The Lions enter the match with a record of 7-15. Bishop Loughlin lost 64-59 in their recent league match against Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY)
The Royals now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nazareth for a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens match on Monday, February 3. Christ the King will meet a Kingsmen squad coming off a 68-55 league loss to Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Kingsmen record now stands at 11-5.
