In Monday's league contest, the host Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights basketball team scored a good 77-62 win over the Valley Vikings.

The Knights (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Miners come into the 4A Lake contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Sunrise Mountain defeated Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV), 70-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Rancho Rams (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Lake contest, on Wednesday, February 4. Valley will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 9-17 record after their 82-43 league loss to Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV).
