February 20, 2024: Wrightsville, GA 31096 Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Screven County upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Gamecocks travel to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Swainsboro lost 10-7 in their recent non-league test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA)
With the defeat, Johnson County falls to 1-1 on the season. The Trojans host Wheeler County (Alamo, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-1. Wheeler County lost 9-7 in their recent non-league test against Cook (Adel, GA)
