Michigan High School Basketball - Godwin Heights thwarts Belding
February 20, 2024: Wyoming, MI 49548 The Godwin Heights Wolverines (Wyoming, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI), 49-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (15-5) will now prepare for their test against NorthPointe Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Mustangs go into the Ottawa-Kent - Silver test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, NorthPointe Christian notched a victory over Hopkins (Hopkins, MI), 46-43, in a league test.
The Black Knights now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sparta for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Friday, February 23. Belding will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 75-61 league win over Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 14-8.
