February 20, 2024: Waconia, MN 55387 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) and the visiting Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), saw Waconia's basketball squad overcome Benilde-St. Margaret's by a tally of 59-51.
With the victory, Waconia improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Chaska (Chaska, MN) to confront the Hawks in a AAAA Section 2 challenge on Friday, February 23. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Chaska won 57-56 in their recent non-league challenge against New Prague (New Prague, MN)
Next up, the Red Knights confront the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) in a AAA Section 6 challenge, on Friday, February 23. Benilde-St. Margaret's will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 79-67 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
