Missouri High School Basketball - McCluer topped by Helias
February 20, 2024: Florissant, MO 63031 The Helias Crusaders basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host McCluer Comets to 42 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Bridge for a Central Missouri contest on Friday, February 23. Helias will battle a Bruins team coming off a 60-45 league win over Battle (Columbia, MO). The Bruins record now stands at 16-5.
The Comets (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against McCluer North (Florissant, MO). The Stars come into the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, McCluer North was defeated by Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO), 60-58, in a league contest.
