February 20, 2024: Northome, MN 56650 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) and the host Kelliher/Northome Mustangs (Northome, MN), saw Nevis's basketball squad wallop Kelliher/Northome by a tally of 116-47.
With the victory, Nevis improves its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN) to play the Wolves in a A Section 5 challenge on Friday, February 23. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley won 83-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Northland (Remer, MN)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) in a A Section 8 challenge, on Friday, February 23. Kelliher/Northome will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Drakes come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 99-49 non-league loss to Deer River (Deer River, MN).
