Brick Memorial Mustangs (Brick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ), 47-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brick Memorial upgrades its record to 15-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-12. Steinert lost 49-32 in their recent non-league bout against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ)

Next up, the Bengals play the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 22. Barnegat will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 13-12 record after their 38-28 non-league win over Shawnee (Medford, NJ).
