Delaware High School Basketball - DuPont overwhelms Dickinson
February 20, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19807 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting Dickinson Rams (Wilmington, DE), saw DuPont's basketball squad wallop Dickinson by a count of 90-34.
With the victory, DuPont upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Appoquinimink won 71-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE)
Next up, the Rams play the McKean Highlanders (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - B challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. Dickinson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 50-11 league loss to Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE).
