Fans at Friday's league challenge between the DuPont Tigers (Wilmington, DE) and the visiting Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE), saw DuPont's basketball squad knock off Howard by a count of 64-54.

With the victory, DuPont upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Caravel (Bear, DE) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A battle, on Monday, January 29. Howard will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Ducks come into the battle with a 9-3 record after their 61-56 league win over Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE).
