February 20, 2024: Granada, MN 56039 St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars (Granada, MN), 74-36 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Knights host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN) to play the Thunderbirds in a A Section 2 bout on Monday, February 26. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 11-16. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop lost 74-49 in their recent league bout against Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Madelia Blackhawks (Madelia, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Monday, February 26. Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record.
