Georgia High School Soccer - Westminster knocks off Miller Grove
February 20, 2024: Lithonia, GA 30058 Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) in a 4A Area 6 challenge, on Friday, February 23. Westminster will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 9-0 league win over Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA).
The Wolverines now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Innocents Episcopal for a 4A Area 6 challenge on Thursday, February 22. Miller Grove will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 3-3 non-league Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-2.
