Florida High School Softball - Boca Ciega bounces St. Petersburg Catholic
February 20, 2024: St. Petersburg, FL 33710 Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host St. Petersburg Catholic Barons (St. Petersburg, FL), 18-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anclote for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 21. Boca Ciega will face a Sharks squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, St. Petersburg Catholic falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL) to face the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 26. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
