Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Holden Rockets (Holden, LA), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Green Wave now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. Ponchatoula will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Holden falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to battle the Skippers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Skippers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Mandeville lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA)
