Texas High School Softball - Northeast Early College bounces LBJ Austin
February 20, 2024: Austin, TX 78752 Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX), 20-3 in a league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCallum for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. Northeast Early College will battle a Knights squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Crockett (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, LBJ Austin falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX) to battle the Raptors in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge on Monday, March 4. The Raptors enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
