In Thursday's non-league bout, the Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sneads Pirates (Sneads, FL), by a margin of 11-4.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gadsden County for a non-league test on Friday, February 21. Altha will play a Jaguars team coming off a 23-4 non-league loss to Rickards (Tallahassee, FL). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Sneads drops to 2-2 on the year. The Pirates travel to Poplar Springs (Graceville, FL) to play the Atomics in a 1A District 3 test on Friday, February 21. The Atomics go into the test with a record of 1-0. Poplar Springs won 23-0 in their recent league test against Graceville (Graceville, FL)
