Michigan High School Basketball - Oscoda knocks off Mio-Au Sable
February 20, 2025: Oscoda, MI 48750 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) and the visiting Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI), observed Oscoda's basketball team overcome Mio-Au Sable by a score of 28-17.
The Owls (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Patriots come into the North Star challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Heston Academy defeated Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI), 68-18, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunderbolts battle the Hale Eagles (Hale, MI) in a North Star challenge, on Friday, February 21. Mio-Au Sable will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 53-41 league win over Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI).
