The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) basketball edged the host Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ), 42-38 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 14-13 record. They play next when they travel to O'Connor for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. Highland will play a Eagles team coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 17-9.
