Arp Tigers (Arp, TX) backers left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the visiting Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX), 11-0 in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Venus for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 21. Arp will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Overton moves to 3-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Rains (Emory, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, February 21. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-2. Rains lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Frankston (Frankston, TX)
