The Boyd Yellowjackets softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Plainview Bulldogs to 10 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brock for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 21. Boyd will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Weatherford (Weatherford, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
