The Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) softball routed the host Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), 9-4 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Steers now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crane for a non-league test on Friday, February 27. Big Spring will meet a Cranes squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX). The Cranes record now stands at 0-6.
