Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Canevin overwhelms South Side
February 21, 2023: Hookstown, PA 15050 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA), saw Bishop Canevin's basketball squad wallop South Side by a tally of 72-46.
With the victory, Bishop Canevin improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Serra Catholic won 79-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Rams confront the Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. South Side will attempt to improve on its 8-16 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 14-11 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Washington (Washington, PA).
