The Santa Rosa Lions basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets to 59 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Texico for a 2A District 6 contest on Thursday, February 23. Santa Rosa will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 94-80 league loss to Pecos (Pecos, NM). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-11.
