Indiana High School Basketball - Milan overwhelms Shawe Memorial
February 21, 2023: Madison, IN 47250 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) and the host Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers (Madison, IN), saw Milan's basketball squad wallop Shawe Memorial by a tally of 55-31.
With the victory, Milan improves its record to 7-15 on the campaign. The Indians host Union County (Liberty, IN) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. Union County lost 72-61 in their recent league challenge against Union City (Union City, IN)
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Shawe Memorial will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 73-37 non-league loss to Providence (Clarksville, IN).
