The West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host LaGrange for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22. West Laurens will clash with a Grangers team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Academy of Richmond County drops to 1-4 on the year. The Musketeers travel to Harlem (Harlem, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 25.
