The Brookstone Cougars baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Marion County Eagles to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.

The Cougars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeside School for a non-league test on Monday, February 24. Brookstone will play a Chiefs team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-1.

With the defeat, Marion County drops to 1-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Manchester (Manchester, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25.
