The Hatton Hornets baseball squad (Town Creek, AL), was edged 8-7 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL)

With the triumph, Sheffield moves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tharptown (Russellville, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Area 14 contest on Tuesday, February 25. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-2.

The Hornets now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 22. Hatton will confront a Golden Bears squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-2.
