The Hatton Hornets baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Colbert County Indians to 1 in the Hornets non-league win on Monday.

The Hornets now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Austin for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. Hatton will clash with a Black Bears team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Albertville (Albertville, AL). The Black Bears record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Colbert County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Central (Florence, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25.
