Louisiana High School Baseball - St. Charles Catholic sneaks past Ruston
February 21, 2025: Ruston, LA 71270 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the host Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA), saw St. Charles Catholic's baseball team get by Ruston by a tally of 5-4.
The Comets (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, University Lab held off Lutcher (Lutcher, LA), 12-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bearcats face the John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 22. Ruston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA).
