Alaska High School Basketball - Colony holds off Mountain City Christian Academy

The Colony Knights basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Mountain City Christian Academy Lions to 48 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Kodiak for a 4A Northern Lights game on Friday, February 28. Colony will confront a Bears team coming off a 67-51 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Bears record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Mountain City Christian Academy falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to confront the Warriors in a 4A Northern Lights game on Tuesday, February 25. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 13-9. Wasilla won 69-59 in their recent non-league game against West Valley (Fairbanks, AK)
