In Friday's league contest, the visiting Spring Mills Cardinals basketball team scored a big 81-50 triumph over the Hedgesville Eagles.

The Cardinals (19-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 5-14 record.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Hedgesville will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 52-46 league loss to Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV).
