The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Junction City Bluejays (Junction City, KS) and the visiting Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS), observed Junction City's basketball team edge Manhattan by a margin of 53-47.

The Bluejays (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hayden (Topeka, KS). The Wildcats come into the Centennial challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Hayden was tipped by Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS), 55-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Emporia Spartans (Emporia, KS) in a Centennial challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Manhattan will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 64-35 league win over Topeka (Topeka, KS).
