Michigan High School Basketball - Edison Academy succumbs to Belleville
February 21, 2025: Belleville, MI 48111 The Belleville Tigers defeated the visiting Edison Academy Pioneers basketball squad by a count of 54-40 in Friday's non-league match.
With the victory, Belleville advances its record to 20-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Northville (Northville, MI) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 14-7. Northville lost 72-40 in their recent non-league match against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI)
The Pioneers now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankenmuth for a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. Edison Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 45-36 non-league loss to Rockford (Rockford, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 16-4.
