The Taft Toreadors baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting North Hollywood Huskies to 4 in the Toreadors non-league win on Friday.

The Toreadors now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league test on Monday, February 24. Taft will clash with a Cowboys team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Vasquez (Acton, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, North Hollywood drops to 1-1 on the year. The Huskies travel to Marshall (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Barristers in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22.
