The Sylmar Spartans the visiting Taft Toreadors baseball squad by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 1. Sylmar will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Chancellors come into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA).
