February 21, 2025: Lubbock, TX 79403 The Sundown Roughnecks softball squad scored 17 runs and limited the host Estacado Matadors to 0 in the Roughnecks non-league triumph on Friday.
Next, the Roughnecks meet the Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Sundown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Mules enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Abernathy (Abernathy, TX).
The Matadors (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX). The Mules enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Muleshoe was routed by Levelland (Levelland, TX), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
