Michigan High School Basketball - Roosevelt overwhelms Taylor
February 22, 2022: Wyandotte, MI 48192 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) and the visiting Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), saw Roosevelt's basketball squad wallop Taylor by a tally of 69-42.
With the victory, Roosevelt improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a Downriver challenge on Friday, February 25. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Lincoln Park won 52-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI)
Next up, the Griffins play the Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Friday, February 25. Taylor will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 60-59 league loss to Allen Park (Allen Park, MI).
