Kansas High School Basketball - West topped by Highland Park
February 22, 2022: Topeka, KS 66605 The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting West Chargers to 36 in the Scots non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Scots now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washburn Rural for a non-league contest on Friday, February 25. Highland Park will battle a Blues team coming off a 61-14 non-league win over Junction City/St. Xavier (Junction City, KS). The Blues record now stands at 19-2.
The Chargers (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Topeka (Topeka, KS). The Trojans come into the Centennial contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Topeka dropped by Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
