Texas High School Softball - Westlake bounces Davenport
February 22, 2022: Austin, TX 78746 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) and the visiting Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Westlake's softball squad tip Davenport by a count of 10-4.
The Chaparrals now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vandegrift for a non-league match on Friday, February 25. Westlake will face a Vipers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX). The Vipers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Davenport moves to 6-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Burbank (San Antonio, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, February 24. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 3-2. Burbank won 19-3 in their recent league match against John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX)
