February 22, 2023: Corona, NM Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM) and the visiting Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM), saw Corona/Vaughn's basketball squad wallop Mountainair by a tally of 56-31.
With the victory, Corona/Vaughn improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The travel to Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM) to confront the Cougars in a A District 3 challenge on Friday, February 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. Alamo Navajo won 73-30 in their recent league challenge against Mountainair (Mountainair, NM)
