Alabama High School Baseball - Central of Coosa County loses to Comer
February 22, 2024: Sylacauga, AL 35150 The Comer Tigers crushed the visiting Central of Coosa County Cougars baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jacksonville Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. Comer will face a Thunder team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Anniston (Anniston, AL). The Thunder record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Cougars face the Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 26. Central of Coosa County will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 19-0 non-league loss to Woodland (Woodland, AL).
