February 22, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99516 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Colony Knights (Palmer, AK), saw South Anchorage's basketball squad overcome Colony by a tally of 42-34.
With the victory, South Anchorage improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to confront the Wolves in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Friday, February 23. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-17. Eagle River lost 74-28 in their recent league challenge against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Knights confront the West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 24. Colony will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).
