Alaska High School Basketball - Colony can't hold off West Anchorage

February 26, 2024: Palmer, AK 99645

The West Anchorage Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Colony Knights to 61 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet match, on Tuesday, February 27. West Anchorage will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Golden Bears enter the match with a 10-12 record after their 65-60 non-league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).

With the defeat, Colony moves to 14-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to meet the Warriors in a 4A Northern Lights match on Friday, March 1. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 10-11. Wasilla lost 59-52 in their recent league match against Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK)
