February 22, 2024: Rhinelander, WI 54501 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rhinelander Hodags (Rhinelander, WI) and the visiting Medford Raiders (Medford, WI), saw Rhinelander's basketball squad hold off Medford by a tally of 50-45.
With the victory, Rhinelander improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Hodags host Hayward (Hayward, WI) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 5-19. Hayward lost 76-62 in their recent league challenge against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI)
Next up, the Raiders play the Antigo Red Robins (Antigo, WI) in a Great Northern challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Medford will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Red Robins come into the challenge with a 7-17 record after their 68-39 league win over Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI).
