Michigan High School Basketball - Zion Christian trounces Sacred Heart Academy
February 22, 2024: Byron Center, MI 49315 The Zion Christian Mountaineers (Byron Center, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Sacred Heart Academy (Grand Rapids, MI), 69-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mountaineers (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Calvary Christian (Fruitport, MI). The Eagles go into the Alliance test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Calvary Christian was trounced by Lee (Wyoming, MI), 82-65, in a league test.
The now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Tournament Team for a non-league test on Monday, February 26. Sacred Heart Academy will encounter a squad coming off a 85-81 non-league loss to Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The record now stands at 4-22.
