Oklahoma High School Basketball - Walters holds off Vanoss
February 22, 2024: Ada, OK 74820 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Walters Blue Devils (Walters, OK) and the host Vanoss Wolves (Ada, OK), saw Walters's basketball squad hold off Vanoss by a tally of 32-29.
With the victory, Walters improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Calera (Calera, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 24-2. Calera won 47-22 in their recent non-league bout against Mangum (Mangum, OK)
Next up, the Wolves clash with the Hobart Bearcats (Hobart, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Vanoss will attempt to upgrade on its 22-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 67-33 non-league win over Colbert (Colbert, OK).
